A Landmark Transformation in the Heart of Birmingham. Estilo Interiors is proud to have delivered a comprehensive design and fit-out scheme for Bruntwood at Centre City, a landmark commercial building located in the heart of Birmingham.

Bruntwood approached Estilo Interiors with the ambition to elevate Centre City’s communal and client-facing areas to reflect the evolving expectations of today’s occupiers. The project centred around creating a welcoming and high-end arrival experience, improving tenant wellbeing through enhanced amenities, and introducing versatile workspace options.

The scope of works included:

• Full refurbishment of the Reception and Atrium

• Creation of a brand-new Business Suite off the Atrium

• Installation of an on-site Café

• Complete reimagining of the Basement Shower and Gym Studio

• Modernisation of all connecting corridors linking the above spaces

Key Features & Finishes

Estilo Interiors carried out a full strip-out of the existing areas before undertaking a high-quality fit-out designed to blend function with form. The works included:

• Solid and glazed partitioning to define spaces while maintaining openness and transparency

• New ceramic floor finishes throughout high-traffic zones for durability and aesthetic appeal

• A full decorative scheme with modern lighting and power installations

• Bespoke joinery elements including reception desks, café counters, and feature wall panelling

• Integration of indoor planting to promote wellbeing and visual interest

• Soft and hard floor finishes curated to align with the building’s upgraded design identity

The new Business Suite provides a flexible environment for tenants and guests, supporting everything from informal meetings to focused work. Meanwhile, the new Café offers an attractive breakout destination, enhancing tenant experience and encouraging a sense of community within the building.

In the basement, Estilo delivered a fully kitted-out Shower and Gym Studio, complete with modern changing facilities, lockers, and high-quality finishes to support active commuting and employee wellbeing.

Delivering the Vision

Despite the complexity of working across multiple floors and live areas, Estilo Interiors successfully delivered the scheme within the 26-week programme. Working closely with Bruntwood’s asset management and facilities teams, careful planning ensured minimal disruption to existing tenants while maintaining momentum on site.

The result is a significantly enhanced Centre City – one that stands out in a competitive Birmingham office market by offering occupiers more than just workspace. The completed refurbishment supports the building’s long-term asset strategy while providing an immediate uplift to tenant experience and market appeal.
