Lombard House, a prestigious historical 62,000 sqft property situated in the heart of Birmingham’s thriving Colmore Business District. This renovation project encompassed the CAT A design and build common part areas executed for leading property consultants, Gerald Eve LLP.
THE WORK
Estilo Interiors successfully secured the contract for the Lombard House fit-out, a prestigious project in Birmingham for long term client Gerald Eve. The challenge was to harmonise modern functionality with Lombard House’s rich heritage.
Demonstrating design finesse, Estilo Interiors, Birmingham’s leading office fit-out contractor, transformed every floor into an art deco-style space, revitalising spaces from the grand reception area to the basement. This encompassed the replacement of communal WC’s and the addition of modern amenities like cycle and shower facilities.
The scope of works included; The strip out and refurbishment of common areas, including WC’s, Lift Lobbies, and Reception on the Ground Floor alongside the implementation of a significant shower and cycle parking scheme to enhance functionality.
Precision in execution was paramount. Meticulous design, pre-construction planning, and active project management ensured a timely completion, with early procurement securing a high-quality finish.Lombard House’s location on a bustling high street presented logistical challenges. Estilo Interiors devised a comprehensive logistics plan, ensuring minimal disruptions. Clear coordination from the delivery team, especially during out-of-hours, prevented inconvenience to neighbouring businesses.
